The model's expression was what triggered the idea of the clown and the piece by objekt-stock cemented the idea. Cleaning up the model was really hard. He had a lot of stubble which doesn't really go well with the clown theme. It took hours of blending, smudging, cloning, and airbrushing to remove all the hair and change the skin color. I also did some minor dental work. I hand painted the makeup on...which is probably obvious as I'm not very good at painting anything, makeup or otherwise.
